Leaders were first faithful followers; and that's been my meritorious case. Joining this covenantal House called CIOM over 10 years ago, my distinct honour was just to be a son in the house, pursuing the glorious God who was tangibly a heavy precipitate over them I had seen proceed from here; particularly, the visionary & apostolic leader of the Ministry - Apostle Dennis G. Vincent. Under him I found an umbrage of fatherly inheritance.
Here I have seen Christ build His Church. His way. I have seen Him sit as King among the youthful marked for profanities, and He called us 'The Generation of the Righteous'. I've seen Him weed out rebellious seed from the privileged flock, seen Him bring in the wildest stray sheepling for cleansing & ennobling. Ooh seen Him open the Heavens above us when we gathered in hunger, & permitted us into Zion's courts! See Him cause the earth to honour our decree, in every space He sent us as witnesses in this land and beyond. Seen God glorify Himself in men of varied ages, tongues, tribes & races!
Such is the beauty I've experienced in this Hood where Christ domiciles in His Glory! That's why it delights me to serve with utmost zeal and humility as the Head of Media, lead Asaph in the Worship ministry and lastly as the overall Ministry's Chair. Why me? I will never know! But while this great mercy is afforded me, I continue to redeem time & work the works of He that sent me, while it is yet Day! Because night cometh..when no man can work!
Christhood has been and will forever be, for me and many others, a place of growth. I like how it is intentionally fashioned to allow people to grow. The opportunities and avenues are there, you just need to be deliberate in your all-round growth. A place you are allowed to make mistakes without any fear of judgement or complaints (while you gain mastery) is a place I'd rather be."
My journey in Christhood has been nothing short of transformative. It has given me the chance to embrace my unique gifts and talents in service to others while deepening my own spiritual path. Christhood has offered me a true sense of belonging, where I can flourish as a servant leader. Through this experience, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about leading with humility, compassion, and love. Each interaction and opportunity to serve has revealed more about God’s calling for us as disciples of Christ. Christhood has been a welcoming space where young people can grow, learn, and serve, creating a strong sense of community. It offers our dedicated members the chance to nurture their faith from a young age, empowering them to step into their roles as disciples and leaders. Together, we’re not just growing individually; we’re uplifting each other, supporting one another as we strive to live out God’s purpose in our lives.
I believe that stewardship is the essence of true leadership. Recognizing that I have been entrusted with guiding this generation, I am committed to seeking divine guidance in all my endeavors. My ultimate purpose is to serve as a vessel through which those under my leadership can realize their full potential and purpose as ordained by God. Assuming a leadership role comes with a weighty responsibility, as I am aware that I will be held to account for my actions. However, my primary focus is on nurturing and empowering each individual I lead to embrace their unique calling and to reflect the image of Christ in their lives. Every day, I carry the mantle of leadership with a sense of solemn duty, striving to uphold the values of integrity, compassion, and humility. It is my deep conviction that by aligning my actions with God's will, I can positively impact the lives of those entrusted to my care and contribute to their personal and spiritual growth.
My leadership journey often feels like a roller coaster, filled with highs and lows, successes and setbacks, and constant changes that demand adaptation. One of the fundamental traits that has helped me in this curve is resilience - Hebrew 10:35 do not cast away your confidence for it shall be greatly rewarded. Equally important, I constantly remind myself on the need to always inspire and motivate the team towards a common goal. Authentic and transparent leaders build trust and loyalty. I endevour to espouse such values to strengthen the team's cohesion and commitment. Lastly, effective leadership requires discipline and a dedication to continuous learning and development. Leaders must not only guide their teams but also invest in their personal growth. Someone once said "leaders read and readers lead" .
As an administrator in Christhood, I see my role as a steward of the vision and mission entrusted to us by God. I am dedicated to fostering an environment of order, excellence, and accountability that reflects the kingdom of God . Leadership in administration requires a heart of service, a commitment to integrity, and an unwavering trust in God’s guidance. By faithfully managing the resources and responsibilities given to me, I aim to empower others to serve effectively and fulfill their God-given purposes.
Being a leader in Christhood is an honour and
quite so humbling...Where I get to give in an area
am sooooo passionate about and with time God gave
me a people like minded and willing.....I call
them 'Creatives' cause that's what we do ..we give
form to an idea💡,a thought...
leadership is the capacity to influence others
through inspiration motivated by a passion, generated
by a vision, produced by a conviction, ignited by a
purpose. -Myles Munroe
Counseling in Christhood is a ministry of healing, guidance, and restoration. I believe that every person carries a God-given potential, and through compassionate listening and wise counsel, we can help them discover it. Rooted in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit, our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space where individuals can find clarity, hope, and renewal. As a counselor, I am committed to walking alongside others in their journeys, offering encouragement, and pointing them back to the redemptive power of Christ.
